It’s been more than two decades since Zootz closed its doors on Forest Avenue in Portland, Maine but periodic reunion raves — like last night’s — keep the heady memories alive and asses shaking to the beat.
Tickets sold out three weeks in advance, according to Kris Clark, the former owner of Zootz who organizes the reunion dance parties. The last event took place in November 2022. There’s no word yet on when — or if — the next one will happen.
